Week 1 Pregame Prayer -
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for these oppurtunities you give us in life and the freedoms of living in our country that go with it. Such oppurtunity for this prayer is high school sports. While many will prophesy/predict what is going to happen at ballgames they will only be making guesses. The only predictions that have ever came true involved your being and return when it comes. Through you we are all victorious. It wont be our team's colors that will be represented in that final victory as we will all be united with you as one big victor. Thank you for all you have gave and continue to give though we dont deserve,yet you found us worthy anyhow. Protect our young. Protect our players, parents, coaches, officials and fans as they travel abroad this season and welcome people to their home fields/courts. We pray that injuries do not happen, yet if one does lord may there be quick healing. We pray that all get along and use good sportsmanship. Yes we will pick and tease at each other Lord, but let it only be in good fun and nothing else. And Lord, we pray that ALL make it to you, that ALL follow your guidance and call on you for anything no matter what they are going through or just simply want to thank you. Lord we live in a great country while many don't. You blessed us to be here instead of elsewhere. Thank you is not enough. Protect those who protect our freedoms to worship you, and spoil them when you call them home. And Lord be with those who struggle for any reason. We love and praise you, and thank you for all, in Jesus Name we pray,
