8-6 Ava mid way through the 2nd. I will add that Stephen Copeland is sitting this one out as he’s nursing an injury. Nothing serious but they just want him at 100 percent for the conference games. I believe if needed, he could play tonight, but that’s only if needed.

Ava loses to Buffalo 20-16. Penalties and disinterested play by Ava killed us. Buffalo has a strong line with a pair of young playmakers and could be a very good team in another year.

Im pretty sure Jaris Acklin set the LHS passing mark tonight. 425 yards and 7 tds.

Mghs...hovey has never been healthy...it's going to be a rough go for the Grove...sloppy game play.

He has been gimpy for the last two years but he has talent and he can run. A lot of the sloppy plays can be cleaned up and was a by product of several first year starters playing out of positions do to injury. I suspect they will get better as the season progresses.
We will be competitive this season.
