It's the beginning of conference play. This could be the best/closest opening week of conference play in recent years. Houston and Cabool are 2-0. Is this the year that Houston snaps the 30 plus year losing streak to Salem (I think it's 35 but not sure)? Will Thayer/Liberty still be the juggernaut game it usually is? Ava got back in the win column but they and Grove are arch rivals. Willow woke up with a win over Marionville, does it carry into Texas County where Cabool is undefeated? Outside the conference powerhouses West Plains and Camdenton will clash as well.
I havent a clue what to pick for my game of the week thus far. This SHOULD make for some great discussion!! Pick away folks!

Never thought I'd say this but, I'm not watching the Grove this week I'll be heading to watch Houston... Houston has been heading in the right direction for the last 2 or 3 years glad to see them finally be competitive again. I think it will be a dandy of a game

There will not really be a game of the week till 9-14.All of the other ones don't really mean too much.Just by what I'm reading.😕

You are right Bobcat61, the battle of the undefeated titans, Cabool and Houston meet up for a dandy game....and I'm only half joking about that. Im kinda looking forward to that game myself. I enjoy the SCA teams making a good showing outside the conference. Kudos to those two programs.

Eagles and the bobcats is looking like a close ballgame as most people see it. I'm gunna say the eagles by at least 2 TDS. Gunna find out if I Kno this team like I think I do.

Does anyone know if the Houston @ Salem game will be live video streamed on CityLinkTV tonight? I don't see anything in the "schedule", but not sure that it is always updated and accurate. Thanks!

Well, what an interesting week. All 4 SCA games were dandies. Mother nature and defenses rolled through the night/Saturday. Make your own cases for game of the week on this one.
