Week 3.Grove 0-3,Cabool 3-0.When's the last time this happened.Grovers ready to run their coach out of town on a rail? No matter what they say grove is not down.Salem pulled one out in OT.They bad or Houston finally decide to play? Liberty cant pass then they lose.Defense did score 6 for them.Like some have said"Liberty faithful"we need to run more.All in all kinda a SCA week,and you all thought I graduated?  |

Grove is down and beat up. Lost Senior OT,TE NG quit and playing soph and Freshman. Coaching is fine talent is just average with not many difference makers to cover up weak areas. Can still win games but players have to play better |

Grove's junior class had less then 17 kids there freshman year...so yes they are down. you figure half don't play anymore only 3 are true athletes that aren't starting in the correct position's...my opinion...the senior class is beatin up and we are starting freshman and sophomore... 3 years we will be back on the top...

I sure miss the old days it's getting boring hashing it out with the same 4 people Did you see fb.. with all the whoraw.. on there bout Houston not getting a call.. they looked pretty lively on there bout it.. I was at the game.. and not sure on that call or not honestly.. however salem had like 5 other calls that sure helped Houston. Including a long run that was called back.. I think both sides had to many calls and either team would had deserved the W.. 38 in a row hurts.. but you cant blame refs... bad calls .. for what happend.. |

I can't think of any JR who are not starting in their correct positions for Grove? Not that many JR period...Fry,Wakefield,Basham, and Villanueva see playing time as JR. Tony V. plays LB drops to DL some and was put in at OT with a injury to Lamborn. Can't see him being anywhere else but LB/DL/OL. Fry is OC he could play TE/OG or OT but he is the Best OC on squad then it's a FR OC . Wakefield is the only QB on the Roster Period unless you move Thompson to QB then you have no RB and can't split him out as a WR either. Basham can only play CB and some WR no other spot on field for him at all. And I'm not sure the JR class has one True Elite athlete. Got some solid players who play hard but not superior athletes at all. The JR class has also been hurt by injuries, Walters has had two ACL injuries on his R/L knees, Luke Fry had to medically retire and both of them dang good football players who would of been big helps to filling out Roster spots. Both would start this year for us. Walters was a starter for us Both of the Last two years and Luke was every bit as good as Caleb. But that stuff happens it's football and every town has attrition for various reasons we have to weather the storm and work hard. |

coonhunter,maybe you can blame this guy.With his post about things no one cares about but him.Heck he even ran off the grove faithful with his long winded meaningless posts.Ava is still #1 grove just might be mopping up until they play Cabool.

LOL well he's the one that posted that we had guys in wrong spot's ....so clearly he cares or is your reading comprehension a bit on the weak side? And that is not even a long winded post for the SCA board at all. Ava is tops but I could see Thayer or Liberty taking them down. They are a shell of what they was last year but still appear to the the best in a weak SCA. |
