Well, I'd venture to say the Houston/Thayer game wound up being the game of the week. Outside the conference would be Reeds Spring vs. Catholic though I sure wish Reeds would have had the score in their favor.
This week guys, I really have no clue. Ava/Houston will be for the conference lead. Liberty/Grove could be an even match. And Willow/Salem could be even as well. Don't overlook Thayer/Cabool either, stranger things have happened in that one. I'm anxious to see your thoughts on these or some outside the area.
District front runners Fair Grove and Strafford, both undefeated, go at each other this week as well. Buckle your seatbelts for a good week!

Yep SCA is pretty weak sauce this season. Strafford will dominate FG IMO. Liberty should have the upper hand on Grove but not by a wide Margin. Ava will out pace Houston come the Second half and it will not look close. Thayer will CRUSH CABOOL!!! I suspect Salem will pull away from WS, the bears had their week versus MV.

I may get scalped for this, but I've been there longer than most of all who read this anyway - if we dont stop the run they will pull away. We have the team to beat them but gotta put it all together to do it. If not then we could be in the very bottom of a conference that is definitely hobbling along this year.

WS could beat Salem but you have a few issues that might preclude a victory. I could go into detail but it would gin up the touchy feely types.

Asking for a friend Tell your friend.. :-) The best chance for the Bears to make their way to first in the district is for Strafford to win over Fair Grove... and then lose to Skyline the only other chance would be for Fair Grove to get the win but then lose to Buffalo (also keep in mind that they will get bonus pts for playing the Bison) It would not hurt for both the Indians and Eagles to have close games these next three weeks and the Bears blow people out...

They will get pressure on FG QB and not allow him to hit his tall lanky WR. I wouldn't be afraid to take another shot at FG we competed with them without Two starters on offense and Defense. Strafford rolled us with a full line up.
