I think, without a doubt it is Ava/Thayer. If Ava wins they get the SCA outright more than likely. If Thayer wins they can get a share of it. Cant wait to see your comments/suggetstions

Salem/Grove could get interesting because the rivalry these 2 schools have. Salem is trying to get back in top 4 of districts standings to host a home playoff game while Grove is looking to spoil things for the Tigers and show that u can’t rely on last years luck to get u deep in the playoffs this year

However it would be nice to see another SCA school be a host!

This is just my opinion and Being a Liberty fan this is very unusual , but , I'm thinking that Mountain Grove youngsters are gonna have a bustout game against Salem to show that they are able to go the distance , it won't be a blowout but it Will be a blow for blow game with grove on top . That being said....Goooo Eagles .

While I hate to say it because of the history of the SCA (and I love it), but with the way District points are determined now, Salem has to find a new conference to move on to. They have the same record as ST. James and last I looked they are behind ST. James in the District standings because of this. Playing down all year especially against competitive teams in the SCA is not good. I think it is time for Salem to move on from the SCA.

I kinda wonder if thats not the agenda down the road to be like other states and we play only our size schools You do bring a good point though. And welcome to the forum

And welcome to the forum It also seems to hurt in trying to schedule the 2 non-conference games. Teams that are bigger usually won't play (unless desperate) if they think that the smaller school has any chance to pull off the win. This has led to Salem traveling 3+ hours the last several years (Dexter, Kirksville, McDonald County) just to fill the schedule. When I played the first 7 games were conference and then the last 3 games were districts. Made scheduling a lot easier I would assume.

Head to head win trumps points in hosting you are correct on that.
I doubt conference go away do to the travel issues it would cause for a lot of schools now it’s just a few that have travel issues make 8 team districts/conferences who play each other and a lot of teams will be hoofing it across the state.

Well my pick for game of the week went south fast. Grove/Salem or Cabool/Liberty wins this one!
