And just like that, we are talking district play next week. With this being the final week and some district seeding implications on the line, there are some interesting games to close out the regular season. 3 of our 4 games this week could be evenly matched. So who will have the game of the week - Houston/Liberty? (my pick so far), Salem/Cabool? (who wants to finish with a win?), or Grove/Thayer (probably the pad popper of the week in Oregon County)?

I gotta go with Houston-Liberty. As I pointed out in the breakdown, the result of that game alone determines THREE seeding spots in the district. You gotta love the irony of Grove fans cheering for the Eagles...

Ahh I don't care if Liberty or Houston wins not rooting for either one to win maybe a black hole opens up and they both disappear into the void LOL LOL ...but Liberty will Roll them like a soft piece of dough and deep fry them.....I have no problem with Playing Strafford in the first round at all.
But on to the business at Hand Thayer will be tough for us, they are well coached and play hard and fast, we are at a real disadvantage in a lot of area's but our Kids have really stepped it up and are playing with grit and determination. I hope they are focused against the Green this friday....I'm really looking forward to Fred's Fish House Friday as well.
