Hey everybody! Long time no see! I’m honored that DEW reached out to me to be involved in the prayer this week. He is alive and doing mighty works right in our midst! I pray each of you is well and keeping your eyes focused on Him! As it says in Psalms 2:12b, “Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”
Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with hearts of thankfulness for another day you have made, another breath you have breathed in us. As we, the players, coaches and fans, prepare for another Friday night on the field, we ask that Your hand guide us in Your ways. We pray for traveling mercies and the safety of the players on the field. We ask that Your presence be known, and that Your children will step out in boldness on the field to declare that You alone are the victor. We pray that You will give the fans positive and uplifting attitudes; the refs clear judgment; the coaches directed speech to promote hard work; and the players a sound mind to play for Your glory alone! We love You, Father, and we thank You for the game of football to be another way to be together as a Body of Christ.
