Would it be the 2013 Liberty team with Acklin at QB? Or do you think that last years Ava squad was better? Has Grove had some teams in the early 2000's that could be better? Or has there been some other SCA team you think was better? Personally, I think that the 2010 Liberty team was pretty good. What do you think?

Early 2000s Salem is hands down the best.
Grove 2005 and 06 is in the team photo.
Last years Ava team was good, but not close to either of those two groups.

2004 was Grove's most talented team semi final squad aka final 4...05 was close semi finalist and 06 made semi finals as well. I'd say one of them was either the best or 2nd best. The Salem squads was dang good as well. I don't see W.S.,MV or Ava in the mix with those squads.

I forgot about Salem. They were very good back in the early 2000's. I went to watch them take on Webb City a couple times back then. I believe they were an option team. So, was Salem Class 4 back then or was Webb City Class 3?

Salem used to be Class 4 and they played Webb City in the 90s when Webb had the kid that went on to play for the Rams Grant W. not sure how to spell his last name. The 2000 Salem team was dangerous set state records for yards rushing and were unstoppable til they ran into Platte County in the Dome
