This makes 2 head coaching moves in the SCA lately. I havent heard anything myself. It's so hard to get any Salemites on here, hopefully we will know soon

lol at willow that's easy an it's two very hard names to live up to.
ARY & WYATT
unfortunately there isnt too many out ther like them an that want to come to willow. I did like Fris he brought a tough mentality but unfortunately that doesnt really work now days. most dont care for a voice to be raised at the kids.... not all but alot.

If we can find a Colley/Hiler/Wilson type for basketball then we can find an Ary/Wyatt type for football. Most of the kids I talk to want discipline, but they want said discipline to be even across the board which is something that hasnt happened until this last basketball season since Ary/Wyatt/Colley. I'm not usually that outspoken but it's been 15 years since we had a winner. It used to be me telling everyone to be patient. Who's gonna tell me that now??? |

This thread started about Salem. I'm gathering half the town wants old school wishbone/Schu football and the other half wants modern day/high stat football. Splitting a town isnt a good thing but many towns wind up being that way over our sports.

have to wonder if Ary had stayed in the middle class like Willow or Grove could he have won a Championship by now? I cant see him ever getting over that hump where he is now.

Coach Mac resigned from his coaching position for health reasons. Being a Salem grad I personally think it’s time to move on from the wishbone days in get up with the way high school is being transitioned into college with more of the spread em out and sling it. Yes Shu was asked if he’d come back and he said he has no interest nor does his 2 sons. Salem needs a coach that will turn this program back into the powerhouse it used to be. The parents need to take a step back with the politics and let the coaches COACH. With that being said I hope we get a coach that will build our boys into stronger men and well disciplined athletes and makes Salem football great again
