What’s the word on the Street for WS football We are SUPPOSED to have about 50 kids out and I heard what few 7 on 7's we did were better than expected for us BUT - we are still in the hiring process for a D coordinator and I've heard that not all our linemen have showed up for weights/conditioning. Other than that things are pretty tight lipped, I'm so out of the loop on things it aint funny. We return 16 seniors, a lot of who played 4 years of varsity ball (whether as starters or fill in). We have a freshman class that had a decent 8th grade year but they're learning a whole different way to do things........ Can you say that I'm not optimistic??? I sure hope to be proved wrong. I know where we SHOULD finish with so many returning lettermen, but..... |

I was wondering about numbers Grove went to a 7on7 at Houston and WS was a no show I heard. Is WS moving away from the spread?

I do believe we went to a 7on7 somewhere but no clue. When I saw our offseason schedule there was only 1 7 on 7 scheduled, I think at WP. |

Does anyone know how they looked at Ozark? I think we all pretty much know the answer to this question. Is this really going to be the worst Grove season since the 90s? |

Does anyone know how they looked at Ozark? I think we all pretty much know the answer to this question. Is this really going to be the worst Grove season since the 90s? So I guess WS didn't look that good at Ozark? Could be worst season since the 90's, we have some talent but it's young. Word on the street is a lot of SCA coaches are licking their chops and expect to run the score up on the Panthers this year. I think up front we will be Ok, QB is solid but we will see who steps up at RB and WR. Defense lost a lot but our DC is pretty good so hopefully he can patch something together and we can be competitive. Winning games depends a lot on the players and how coach able they are and if they got the grit and toughness to compete. Winning will be hard for us this year. |

MGHS I was told that Grove returns all their linemen both sides of the ball?
I got on the ole fb page last night and asked questions and all I got was yep, we went to Ozark. I didn't get any info. It's not even season yet and my temper with this is getting riled. People come to me for this stuff all the time and I usually have an answer. I guess I'm not as important in my town as I thought. I did get the report we got Rodney Preheim from Houston who will be our DC.

oh dewy your important...... I think its more that people are just avoiding talking about what they see an think about the team. used to folks wer like heck yeah gonna have a good season things looking up. now they cant bs themselves or anyone else. my daughter is dating a player an he cant even tell me what's going on. I just dont know if anyone really does. they're running the spread then ther not. running this offense then ther not. who freaking knows.
