Lord we come to you with thanksgiving of the gifts you gave us in your son and our freedom as a nation. Lord we ask your blessing on our town's kids as they represent us with their athletic abilities as well as the classrooms. Lord keep these boys and girls injury free and let them play to the best of their abilities. Father thank you for the many communities who have reached out to Willow Springs during this tough time of our losses of 2 football players. I pray no such thing happens again anywhere to our young. Lord thank you (for Willow Springs) for those we have bonded with in Giddings, Texas since the accident (Zach lived and played there as well before moving back here). Bless their community as well, Lord and may they be successful in their activities this year. Lord thank you for those who help myself and Tracy Henry post these prayers each week, and may it continue as it has for the last several years. Without you we have nothing. We talk about sports alot and should talk about you more. Lord let us be there for our fellow person no matter how big or small the issue. Protect us all for we love you despite the shortcomers we are. God Bless the SCA, Southern Missouri teams and a town in Texas. We dedicate this 2019 sports season to you, in Jesus' name - AMEN.
