Not sure they ever said an "offical" reason.. But sizewise it is the right move they were so much bigger. (I know that when they left an even bigger school came in but that is a different story)...and now with Joplin moving over in two years that means Webb City, Carthage, CJ, and Joplin are all in the same conference....
