Just wanted to Congratulate the Bears on a great run. It was great to watch you march to the Championship game. And, while there is no such thing as the PUBLIC SCHOOL CHAMPION. Everyone in the state knows that it took a hand picked All-Star team to beat you. You guys handled yourself with Class the whole way and showed what real winners, are like. Thanks for being a shining example for others. And thank you for representing this part of the state in a manner that we can all be proud of.

I really figured with out conference being "down" that nobody would make it past quarters as it has been our norm. You guys made believers out of people. This is also why they play the game and not just look at things on paper. Congrats on a great run. It was a year for Bears to be overachievers or achievers depending on anyone's view as Willow won more than anybody would predict. Let's load up again SCA and go for another run in 2020.

Ava is the public School state champion's....Clearly the Private schools have a different set of RULES they follow. So Yeah Ava is the Public school state champs. I told Dan that at the ORN banquet Dec. 1st after he got his coach of the year award. Cool story he recognized our table called my family out as a influence on him, and my Dad specifically and he was in his coach of the year picture do to how he had shaped his coaching style. To do that is a Class act beyond measure, it was his and Ava time and for him to recognize us was heart warming and their wasn't a dry eye at the table. So to me Ava is the 2019 State champion's....the Hired guns at LN AKA play for Pay guys are pure Ringers and Shills.

Out of context it does seem that the SCA is down, but when you start looking at enrollment and how the Whole conference has decreased for the most part in that area and several of the teams are down a class maybe the conference isn't as down as we think. Compared to when the schools where bigger and Ava,MG,Houston and even WS where class 3 and Salem was a really big class 3 or even Class 4 sure we are down. But maybe when you factor in that the schools are smaller and mostly in C2 and C1 then are we really that far down? Maybe Not.
