After, I believe 17 seasons as head coach of the Liberty Eagles, Darin has announced his resignation. I would like to thank coach for everything he has done for this program. Let's face it, it hardly was a program before he took over. Good luck in future endeavors.

He is not retiring. I've heard he's taking the Mountain Home OC job, that is not confirmed however.

Will Coach Spittler head home leaving Cabool looking for a new coach? I heard his brother Joey put in for the job. Also heard rumor of Chad Depee applying for it also. Just rumors though |

No way Depee is the guy. Everyone knows they pay next to nothing.

Yeah Depee would be taking a big pay cut, I mean if he was fired from Ozark he might....but other wise can't see it.
Who is Joey? And is resume over view?

Only thing is he is from here and would be closer to parents. Joey is the current AD at Junction Hill. Also, he's had several assistant coaching jobs at Liberty from different sports. |

Thanks, I figured that was correct. Who has the most coaching experience football wise? I guess Joeys never been a head coach, but had duties at MV on the staff right?

I would say Tyler has more high school experience. I know he was an assistant under Ary at WP. Joey has coached a few sports, including some youth football. He may have helped from time to time at the high school level, i don't know for sure.
