Gotta start wondering if football will be affected?
I know we have a new coach and a totally opposite offensive philosophy... He has had zero time with the kids so far.... going to be interesting for sure.....

We are supposedly having a new (old) def coordinator coming as well. I'm wondering about the offseason workouts and such. Not every kid has a weight room at home or access to one. Are they "staying home" or actually doing some running somewhere? If these things don't get to happen this summer you may see more kids playing varsity due to some being out of shape, and coaches are going to have to make adjustments in the type they never have before, whatever those types wind up being.

There is a chance that the 2020 season might not happen or be shortened. Could well be a second wave come late Sept. or Early Oct.

We’re getting close to the start of practice for the 2020 fall sports season. Any ideas yet on how this sports season will go? Do you think it could be canceled or perhaps played but with no fans/ limited fans in the stands? I haven’t heard anything from MSHSAA or any of the schools and it’s driving me crazy! After losing the spring sports season I’m crazy ready to watch high school sports.

It would be an absolute travesty as these kids are in camps, weights and what-not and see all that investment wasted.

I know of several anxious boys and parents who are really nervous right now. MSHSAA has been absolutely quiet on this

They can announce anything they want right now. But as with everything in this deal it is all subject to change. So it does them no good to announce anything right now.

The issue is nobody knows squat yet, so many moving parts that it’s up in the air.

I can't even begin to wrap my head around it. If the Federal Government has bungled it so badly I'm not sure how we think MSHSAA stands to do any better but the thing that gets me is even if places like the SCA are ready to go what do you do about the cities? If STL/KC can't get to a point where they can compete does that have any effect on the more rural areas?
