Slomo - The only suggestion I can come up with still isnt fair but better than nothing. Forget about state titles this year and let as many as can play ball play. Your conference championships would have a lot more meaning because it may be the only thing you'd play for besides maybe a district. This would suck for Thayer because they have a good chance of winning it all this year. Maybe bring back the Ozark Bowl for these district champions (if we go that far) to play each other at each class level so they do get some reward of a post season.

I can't even begin to wrap my head around it. If the Federal Government has bungled it so badly I'm not sure how we think MSHSAA stands to do any better but the thing that gets me is even if places like the SCA are ready to go what do you do about the cities? If STL/KC can't get to a point where they can compete does that have any effect on the more rural areas? I’m almost wondering if it will be a decision made by each school rather than MSHSAA on whether they should play. I could see MSHSAA having guidelines for the schools who decide to play to follow but I don’t see them cancelling everything statewide like they did in the spring if we have in person school. If we do play though I would be shocked if they allow fans into the games.

If the Big Cities can't play the season will be canceled by Mshsaa we dance to their tune always....C19 is going to be with us for a while and I doubt we get a vaccine anytime soon if ever. My GF is a Epi RN on the Greene Co. CDC task force and she isn't optimistic in that regard, but on the optimistic front C19 isn't that big of threat to the young ones, eventually if this strain doesn't mutate and weaken then some hard decisions will be forth coming.

Something else I thought of. All the teams that have Citylink, you would think they would do away games as well.I know some do already and I appreciate that.Maybe the Eckmans can spend a couple bucks and do it as well.Gotta get Mike Crase on it.
