Dan Davis dcbjacks.com/sports/fball/coaches/Dan_Davis?view=bioHope it works out well, but a guy who has spent 27 years coaching at college is going to have quite the transition coming to the world of high school football in Howell/Shannon County Missouri. Not to mention having to fill the shoes of a local legend like Coach Acklin. Going to be interesting. |

Long way to come to coach football? Wonder what the story is and why he is coming to the Ozarks to coach High school football? Family or Friends in this area? I think he's just a big fan of the outdoors and his school in ND cancelled football for 2020. So he came down here because he wanted to live in the Ozarks for the hunting, fishing, and canoeing. I've heard he applied for several different jobs in the area which would make sense if he was just looking for any job that would put him in the area. |

You can do all those things in ND...but it's a lot warmer down this way most of the year.
