Post your thoughts on what you think will be the game of the week. This should be the game that will have the closest score and I will need that predicted score on your picks. Another way to score on this is to pick an upset. For instance if we see a week that looks like all lopsided scores, and you pick an upset and it happens, that game may turn into the game of the week. The game of the week picks DO NOT have to be an SCA game, just those that MoSooner posts on his pickem contest. Remember to be eligible for the prizes at the end of the season you MUST post on this board 25 times between now and end of the regular season (every week through week 9). Good luck all.

As of now I am going to step outside the conference and looking at the Pleasant Hope/Miller game. I have seen 1 pick Miller and the other Pleasant Hope. And after the drubbing the Cardinals got from Cabool, this game definitely intrigues me. Pleasant Hope in the upset, and I was told first win since 2016? 20 to 18

Would really like to go outside the league here and go with Reeds Spring vs Lamar. If this had been two or three years ago, that is where I would have gone... The Reeds Spring Flexbone vs the Lamar Spinner. I know Ava had a little success in the matchup last year... But just too much unknown between the two to know right now..
I am going with Houston vs St James. Houston will use the experience they got from having to play young kids last year to get the close win.. 24-22

I’m intrigued with the Pleasant Hope/Miller game. Maybe I wouldn’t be as intrigued if Cabool hadn’t gone in and physically dominated that game the way they did against Miller. Pleasant hope put up a couple scores against Marionville so I think I’m going to say that Pleasant Hope gets it done against Miller.
