Well for those of us who picked Miller/Pleasant Hope, I don't expect many of you to follow me again Boy was I wrong on that one! Once again there is more than one game that stands out - Willow/Marionville went into OT. Ava/Strafford was a dandy. Grove/Caruthersville was a classic. Reeds/Lamar was another classic. If anybody wants to chime in on what should be the game of the week please do. A decision will be made either later today or Sunday.

ok this is cause I was there.... willow vs marionville. it was a roller coaster. first half was kinda slow had a wierd feel to it, alot of good defense. second half comets come out an go up by two scores thought oh no..... then the bears came alive got momentum. had a huge chance to go up w a min left in regulation but a td pass just outta reach. comets w ball 45 sec two big sacks an ot. then a fumble by ws an comets score.... story was big pass plays w a good big receiver that hurt willow an bears really showing a ton of heart to make it an excellent game of the week candidate. plus I will say officials need to go back an review the rules!!!

Bmac if it concerned our rant at the end of the game, I was ranting - Was told that because of district points that they had to let them do the conversion after the score in OT. But if the score is more than the 13 district points and it's a score at the end of a game it ends there? Otherwise the game would have ended. I don't like it but .......

well that call yes but a few others like a head ref not knowing a call on turnover on downs if we decline a penalty on 4th down

Its hard to argue with a game that went to OT being the game of the week. I will say that Reeds Spring/Lamar was a good one. Ugly at times but a battle that could have easily gone either way. I will say that it was a wonderful experience. The christening of the new turf field was nice and it was great that the game was so competitive but I want to give a shout out to Lamar as hosts. They were incredible.. Hospitable and classy the whole way.

Cramblett was very good, not sure if I was more impressed by his play at linebacker or how good at running back ( very fast). I noticed on the last series it looked like he may have been taken out for a possible concussion? He was sitting on the sideline with his helmet on the ground. One of your assistant coaches was standing near him, it looked like he was making sure he didn’t try to go back in HHR game. I hope he’s ok and doesn’t miss any games. Looking forward to next year getting to make the trip to Reed Spring. Lamar has a young team and a young first year head coach but so far the results have been good.

True doesn't seem like Lamar is missing a beat at all...
