I do think that some of this has always happened, but I think the frequency has increased and the acceptance of it as a society has a whole is the Norm.

I was thinking Ava would give Thayer a good game but I just found out that Zack Miller is out for the season with a knee injury, prayers for this young man would be very appreciated. I was also told that one of our other main ball carriers quit the team today. I'm thinking Thayer 30, Ava 6 in that game. WOW..I had heard #44 Skyles was having Shoulder surgery and was out...now that Zack Miller is gone I'm not going with Ava vs Thayer......So strike above post. Going LC vs Skline LC..28 Skyline 35 I was fed some bad information on my post above. I was told Skyles had quit but later found out that it was for shoulder surgery which is totally different than quitting. I apologize for sharing the wrong info. Spencer is a great kid! |

Im not speaking specifically about any kid or school here but I see this becoming more common every year. Kids don't want to be held accountable and the parents just don't support the coaches like they used to. Of course some do but I think as time goes on that percentage has definitely dropped. Coaches can't be nearly as hard on kids as they used to or a lot of the kids will just quit. It's sad that some people don't understand a lot of coaches are trying to teach young men how to be grown men and get them ready for the world they are getting ready to walk out into.
