Ok all I had saved at the beginning of the season (Aug.14 actually) your # of posts off this website. I am going to post your #'s as of today, Oct 22, 2020. The rule was to participate in every week and to have at least 25 posts on this board THIS SEASON. I have let things be so it will just be the 25 post rule. Because 2020 has been 2020 I am going to carry this into districts, I was only going to carry it for the regular season. I have reviewed the previous 8 weeks and will post the numbers for those who have participated. If I somehow missed you on THIS SUBJECT ONLY (game of the week threads) PLEASE let me know

I ain't no quitter..... . Those low post counts are almost a microcosm of society today. Start something, get bored, or it get's hard and so you move on to the next bright light. 25 post in a 9 week season....a little under 3 post a week! Dang how hard is that. But with that said you can't force people to engage in good football conversation and debate, if they prefer to do something else with their time well it's their time so be it.

Dew, as a Lamar fan I come here to read about SCA teams. The SCA district winner is the team Lamar usually faces in the first round of the playoffs. I could post more information about Lamar but I don't want to be that obnoxious fan that always hyping his hometown team. I joined back on the old site when you had a lot more discussions and interesting back and forth banter. Friday morning and Friday evenings venture over to check for new post and score updates.

Every Lamar person that has been on this site or the old one has always talked football and been humble about their team. Nobody from your town has ever been arrogant and we love that. When I first set this site up, though the old one was much better, I had a category for out of conference teams in hopes that you and the Fair Grove guys would have some things to post and more from your areas would join (other schools). MoSooner still talks about Reeds Spring (maybe not as much now) and you are way more than welcome to come here and talk about Lamar I do understand where you are coming from but please don't feel like an outsider. The old site used to have some arrogance from West Plains (football) and Licking (basketball). Now that WP is actually winning I am more than shocked that nobody from there has joined as the old Ozark Conf site is gone. My old friend from Parkview (and Houston) is missing as well. The old site also had a lot of folks from Thayer (now back in the SCA in football) that some used to give crap to because they were out of the conference in 1 sport but in during the others. I made a really good friend due to that old site from Bobcat land. We may never actually meet Griswold but you are a friend to us.

I will tell you that these are SCA folks but they are high school football folks. They will welcome your posts and opinions. We have talked about how there is less back and forth banter and would love to get that changed... If you are anything like the Lamar fans we encountered on our trip over there this year, you will be just fine here... Other than the loss, we loved the trip and the way we were treated... (and we didnt even try to steal any of your pizza.) LOL
