I wonder what 2021 will bring... will willow make changes or keep beating a very dead horse? as of now the majority of juniors say they arent coming out again next year. that's very sad. I know this year is different than any other but it's all the same for willow. plus dew did good on pickems so that right ther tells you something.

Some of you willow people should be ashamed of yourselves. Last year you had the best year you have had in ages and one year later you are all in an uproar wanting change. You guys cant be satisfied.

Weird to be throwing the coach under the Bus. I mean WS has been competitive for the most part in games.

no not ashamed for having my opinion. I've lived here my entire life have had 4 kids in the school love my community support everything so no I'm not ashamed of having an opinion. yes last year was best year... the only year. you cant have a team unless you have the kids to play. few years ago Brookshire had a great year at cabool played for district championship an got hosed at marionville. the next year he lost his job he lost the locker room they say. it happens. talk about being satisfied that's bs. it's been almost 20 years here in willow since had success. made a good move in basketball after years of under .500 but 1 year. yes weve had several coaches since ARY an no wer not looking for him to come back. all we want is someone for the kids to want to go out ther an give their all an want to come out an play. Liberty,Grove,Ava,an Thayer have had great coaching an teams for a long while. I'm gonna hush now but yes that does chap my ass hearing we should be ashamed for wanting better it's been 5-6 years now to show it.

Willow is on what coach #4 or 5 since the days of Ary and yet it is the same song and dance? What is the common denominator? It sure isnt the coaches. Some of the coaches you have had went on to success other places. But yes I am sure you are right, just get another new coach and I am sure things will get better this next time around. Maybe it is time to recognize the problem is not always with the coaching. Maybe the problem is in the kids, parents, and families. Sorry if that hits close to home, but sometimes the truth hurts a little.

You dont have anyone that plays, but you know that the coaches cuss each other out?
If that is truly a concern of yours then the proper place to deal with that would be a conversation with administration and not starting a thread about changes on a conference message board.

AHHH but good dirt is always a must for boards like this to Thrive.....I also heard from very reliable sources that the WS staff has had some blow ups on the sidelines. I mean scuttlebutt always get's out on those things...trying to keep it in and lying about it is way worse. All staffs have a donnybroak on occasion...it's human nature to disagree about somethings people are passionate about. The Key is to get over it.

you tell me if the kids or parents are the problem why the freak cant the coaches even get along an cus eachother out in front of team? This is absolutely not true. We are a very tight staff. There will always be a sideline argument, been on every staff I have ever been on, I love Coach Schwalm, smart , works hard, funny, cares about his kids. The kids not playing has nothing to do with the staff, they are great kids who are worried about getting hurt for basketball probably, I'm not sure. You can have your opinion, talk bad about me if you want, but you never spend any time around us. I am around us 80 hours a week for 10 weeks, I have never heard one of us cuss each other out. We were in every game this year with the exception of the Ava game, and I took the blame 100 percent. We started a first year qb,4 new linemen, 2 new running backs, a new reciever, lost kyle wood 2nd game (And that guy was a bad boy). Lost to the number 2 seed with a 28-21 score with 3:12 left in the game. Had 3 returning starters on defense and one of them was Wood. I heard the same things when I was a head coach, the same thing when I was with Perkins here at willow, Ary wasn't any good without wyatt, I have heard it all. Say whatever you want , but don't say things are not true. I could say more, but it isn't worth it. You guys say things that hurt other human beings, and I promise you that doesn't help.
