The Sca/local sports Friday Football pregame prayer comes from a first time person and to my knowledge the first ever from Salem, Mo!
Dear Lord,
In the battles we go through life, we ask for a chance thats fair. A chance to equal our stride, a chance to do or dare. If we should win let it be by the code. Faith and honor held high. If we should lose we’ll stand by the road and cheer as the winners go by.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all the teams, coaches, players and communities competing on the gridiron this Friday. We ask that God watches over us all for everyone to stay healthy and safe. In Gods name we pray. Amen.
