What games, whether in conference or otherwise, do you think will be the game of the week? How about game of the year?

Reeds Spring vs Lamar was a really good game last year...
I am looking forward to Grove vs Liberty. Thinking it could get back to like it was four or five years ago...

First vote for Grove/Lib and I can see it being a dandy.
I keep hammering on this game every year and figure I have jinxed it but going to take a chance. Houston/Salem should be a good one. Rodney Preheim (who was a HUGE help with Willow 2 yrs ago) has returned to coaching and I figure to be Houston's D Coordinator. Salem has a new coach/system again so are things ripe for the picking or is it year 41 or 42 in a row for Salem? I will probably come up with other games but also want to give everyone on the board a chance to chime in

I would have to agree with Grove and Liberty , There was always a lot of spirit and emotions in those games . next would be Liberty and Thayer , then Thayer And Ava . I predict those four games will determine the conference , district and quarter finalists .

Salem and Houston? Oy vey!
Preheim is not going to be the D coord at Houston unless Coach Brookshire has stepped down which I dont think has happened.
Liberty, Thayer and Ava, and any combo of those teams is the right answer to this question.
Grove is not in the same conversation as Liberty right now.

Bonehead I thought Brookshire was the OC not the DC? And I was also basing that off of Preheim being our DC here, and Brookshire was our OC under Heggeman. So if I was wrong (imagine that, lol) I apologize

I am fairly certain Brookshire is the DC and Sloan runs the offense. Either way I don't see Preheim being a coordinator there.

Brookshire is the DC and pretty dang good one. Sloan is the OC. I haven’t heard anything about Brookshire moving on either.

I'm a bit intrigued on that as well...With Cabool being my Dark Horse team it could be a very very interesting match up.

I believe one of the best Games of the week is going to be Liberty against both Strafford and even bigger will be the game with Fair Grove , Last year Fair Grove kicked our butts the first game and then we returned the favor in the district playoffs . If liberty can get past those first non conference opponents It's gonna give them great confidence and We know how they are a second half of the season team . But I also agree with Benjikane that Liberty vs Cabool will be a very interesting and entertaining game and I think that both teams are gonna pull out all of the stops and maybe even throw in a few trick plays to blow it wide open . It'll be teacher against the student .
