What? No love for Reeds Spring vs Lamar?.... OK, I understand that, probably a smart move... gotta go with Nixa vs Joplin.. could be game of the week in the state this week.... will be a dandy.

Liberty over FG. Liberty won't abandon the two QB set. Losing Watts is big. But Pruett and Ripko will step up to the challenge.

FG is pretty dang salty. this will be a good measuring stick for the class 2 district race Unfortunately for FG they are in Lamar's district. I meant that they are one of the top teams in our area and if we are gonna have any success after districts you gotta beat a team like FG |

I went to the Fair Grove v Liberty The game I saw was a slobber knocker and a half , I saw a really timid Liberty squad that did do a lot of offense but just didn't have that usual Liberty punch when they got within 10 yards of the goal line wich happened at least 4 times that I can recall . NOw for my opinion of Fair Grove , FG has a stout big line on defence and they like to tangle it up with the offensive line of the opponent They have a very good QB that knows exactly what he is doing , to me he seemed to have a little bit or alot of Jaelin Acklin in him , if a play went sour he could turn on the jets and turn it into a big gain even a score . I think the big difference in this game was one team (FG ) Were confident and have established a routine And the other team Out of necessity had to kind of reinvent what they are going to be in the rest of the season but they sure don't lack the talent , they just gotta figure out how to use it .In short FG has IT as of right now and Liberty Because of injuries are refiguring out how to use what they got right now and how to use its potential .Liberty is my team and always will be But , Fair Grove schooled us good and that's not bad .

FG is stout up front on both the DL and OL.....I think FG skill guys outside of the QB are just OK. But a great bunch of Lineman and a talented QB can win a lot of games.

Well if my score counted I'd win this with the Joplin/Nixa score  - Other than that Salem/Owensville was the closest game and none of made a pick for that. Though MoSooner picked Nixa to win and didnt he did pick that game so he is this week's winner |
