I will still post my game of the week thread but guess where I'm leaning!  Thayer/Ava - both undefeated in the SCA. While these numbers don't prove much in the sense of defensive, special team touchdowns and jv players subbing in the 4th quarter here is a bit of info Ava has scored 254 and allowed 70 for an average of 42.3 to 11.7 - (yearly numbers I dont have in conference) Thayer has scored 230 and allowed 124 for an average of 38.3 to 20.7 I figure Grove folks may be rooting for Thayer to win so they have a shot at a tri-championship should that develop as they have yet to play the Bobcats So let the discussions/fun begin! |

I would like to see Thayer pull off the upset, but I don't see it happening.

The Conference game of the year... NO DOUBT. And as expected. NOTHING from their fans on here. Both of them, from what I have seen over the years, do their talking on the field. Part of me loves that.... a small part of me loves the back and forth that you get between some schools.
One thing is for should be a great game between two class programs.

I have to agree this is the game of the conference. Going at least as far back was the 70's Thayer can give Ava fits. Even on the hill. I think it will be close but Ava squeekes out the W.

Really don't see Thayer winning this game
May keep it close till half. After that they will just wear us down. They will be to deep for us.
