www.youtube.com/watch?v=Axbo18cnW9YThis guy is a independent Mechanic and I've watched him for a couple of years. He is very educational and knows is stuff.. It's not a late 90's Chevy even though they where not as good as Ford's even then but at least a they where not a hunk junk.

I badly miss my 96 chevy. 5 speed, 4wd, 24 mpg when I first bought it (not bad for a 350!). Then gas prices shot up and the quality went down, got no better than 15 mpg with it  But I ran the daylights out of that thing. I had it 16 years. It was more loyal to me than the 3 girlfriends I had during the time I had it!  10 of those years it was drove like a race car because I was on the fire department. I hauled many loads of wood with it. It started using oil and I traded it in for this thing I have now. It had 350,000 on it at that time. Ah the memories .... |

memories? the truck or the so called "3" girlfriends? be honest you popped em didn't ya an had to throw em away. had to wait awhile to build up enough energy to blow up the next. chevy lover no dought

If you watch a lot of his videos he says that 80/90 Chevy trucks are dang good but since then they are horrible …he calls it as he experiences it. Says Ford Explorer with 4banger and turbo is a maintenance headache. He also shredded Honda 4banger turbos CRVs said they are the worse. He pretty much hates everything Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat. Lol who doesn’t.

Says Ford Explorer with 4banger and turbo is a maintenance headache. He also shredded Honda 4banger turbos CRVs said they are the worse. He pretty much hates everything Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat. Lol who doesn’t. Been silent on this but you have went too far. Have a '04 Dodge Ram Diesel with over 276,000 miles. Looking to try for 500,000. Your Ferd going to do that? |

But Got a couple of Buddies and few associates with Ford Diesel trucks with the Mileage you have and then some and no signs of slowing down. One of them is a truck driver he has a Ford Dually with over 400,000 and still pulls his 5th wheel and Boat to the lake all the time with it. So I'm not that impressed by a Diesel truck with 250,000 miles plus. But love on your Ram .....is it a 5.9L? I know they have some common rail failure's that effect the injectors and mess up the cylinders. Have some friends that learned to hate dodge because of that. |
