They Did about 10am....we are going to be very selective on if we play or not do to the District seeding points. We are not Playing some powerhouse team and drive. We might just use it as a bye week and get ready for Thayer!!

You boys seem to be suggesting that Houston could play this week and just don't want to?

I talked to coach brookshire tonight. I hate this subject with a passion (covid). He didn't give me a name but they do have one in the hospital with it, and prayers are definitely sent. He did tell me before our game they weren't full strength due to quarantine, and due to that one and if everyone else is ok they'll be able to play next Friday. That will all depend on test results etc etc.

What all teams in the SCS have been hit with the C19 in last two years? I know we played Ava without several starters last year Like 6. I know Salem was sacked hard this year as well. Now Houston. I think WS got it last year. Anyone else who has canceled games or been short handed and played.

MGHS we were short 6? versus Salem. I heard Thayer was short 4 vs Ava. I don't know how many were starters or anything like that

I do not know the situation, but I doubt seriously that it had anything to do with District Standings... They are going to finish last, unless something really strange happens.. they may or may not end up with more points than Willow. But the Willow victory last week is going to jump the Bears over them regardless.
So they are very likely headed to Forsyth Week 10.

If your gonna end up last why not take two weeks and prepare for that game?

Some interesting circumstances in Houston…how is it no Volleyball players from Houston have had any contact with any of the players on the football squad? Seems a bit strange to me that there was zero contact between the Volleyball girls and Football boys that is sort of a time honored tradition at most schools.
Also saw that Houston was practicing on the gridiron. Hmmmmm. Just food for thought.

No chance clearly they Houston Girls volleyball team has super immunity while the Football team is immunity impaired. That’s probably the reason the Houston Girls are the Toast of the SCA VB circuit and the FB boys not so much.
