Will actually respond to all of these in one post... Its been a long few days.. The game was in the middle of a school board conference so I had to drive 4 hours each way... been catching up at work since.. ended up eating Mexican near the stadium... was not nearly as good as last time I was there.
The officials, not sure why folks would think RS folks would be happy. Overall they were pretty good. I went back and watched it again and still think so. The personal fouls against Grove would have been called at any level. Even saw it called on Sunday. In many of our days picking up and slamming was fine... but not for several years now. Of course RS folks are going to point out things that Grove fans didnt see... But I honestly only have two... The 85 yard TD pass should have been called back, as he left early and was moving toward the line of scrimmage before the snap. My color guy actually caught it, in real time, I admit I did not until going back and watching it.... and the diving interception actually hit the ground and was trapped... But if I am a official, I probably give him the INT as well. Dude made a heck of a play breaking on the ball and sold it well.
Nothing to be up in arms about at all.... The better team, on this night, won the game and deserved it 100% Good Luck to them on Friday Night
