OK... all the talk about the quality service a Taco Bell and McDonalds in Grove has got me thinking about my dinner plans....
while I was joking about buying me dinner, I do want to know where to get my pregame meal... (not counting on grabbing a free burger from tailgaters this time)
when I was there for basketball last winter, I ate at a Mexican place not far from the school, it was actually pretty good... should I go back, or do you have something better to offer?

Club 60 is good, Cattlemans good but real expensive, China Grove if it's open is good Cashew ChK/Sweet Sour limited Oriental menu though, Los Amigos, Santa Fe, and Cozumel are all good Mexican places. Grove Family Restaurant is good home style food but busy usually, Matteo's the Pizza Place was excellent but it burned and I think is waiting to rebuild.

I've always liked the Grove Cafe next to walmart. Hopefully it's still a great place to go

Well if I was a RS fan I'd be happy and feel great about the Ref's. They tried to make it a Powder Puff football game more akin to touch than tackle . But thank goodness we powered through and won.
I hope Mosooner post a link to his broadcast so we can listen to it.

They also provide dang good Ribs cooked on a nice outdoor cooker. The fish and Chicken is hand Breaded as well. They do a good job on those usually. The deli Sliders are usually turkey/Ham with Baby Swiss on a Sweet Hawaii role.....I call them Radio Sliders as I posted above. Chili is decent mostly ground meat with a bit of beans, just the opposite of the usual deli fair....lot of beans little meat. I would spice it a bit more but I get they want to appeal to the masses and those with bland palates. I will say this about the Potato Soup it is different....really thick closer to Mashed potato's with ham/Bacon and Cheese. Nice flavor but a different consistency so it might not be your cup of tea if you are looking for a traditional creamer Potato soup.
