Instead of posting a new thread about it - Did I hear right on the radio that Districts for boys and girls are in separate locations? Girls in Grove and Boys in Hollister? *scratches head .....

ws is finally playing good as team getting scoring from everyone not just very very talented fresh James. Osborne was hug for em to get back. James can light it up and good to hear Osborne is back for WS. Grove vs Willow should be a great game. |

Was tied at halftime and Grove went on a run to win by 20 over Willow. Thayer goes 4-0 this week with all wins by 29+ points. Bobcats play at Liberty on Tuesday to find out who will be conference champs. |

I think you already got your answer but YEP MSHSAA talked about this a year ago. They are now treated as two completely separate sports. Boys and Girls can be in different Districts and heck, even different classes (Forsyth) One good thing MSHSAA did, was to stagger the nights. Boys games, in districts, this year will be on Mon, Wed, and Fri and girls on Tues, Thur, Sat |

Grove on a 4 game win streak after beating Houston by 48, and the starters didn't play any in second half. Heading to Salem tonight. Then Home against Liberty. Rooting for them to get the upset over Thayer tonight.

I have no idea why Grove even put in for the Girls districts? Why put out all that facility/staff effort for a low attendance sport that is a after thought to anyone but the relatives and few hardcore fans? I suspect it's do to the fact we have a real nice arena and it's expected by some higher ups and People might catch heck for not putting in for it. |

Bobcats hold off Liberty 72-70 in a classic. Easton Pitts had a put back at the buzzer for the win. Libertys Terrell Gaines who is averaging close to 30 ppg had 43.

Sounds like a dang good one for sure.....I'd like to watch it glad MV streamed it. I have noticed that a lot of the Basketball games are not being streamed like football games on the various other SCA Sites? TDH media and WS have some Girls stuff but no boys of late, Cabool is doing a nice job and Salem is streaming the Radio and video... I wonder is that because of Sponsorship or some other reason?

That sucks 6 games at home!! Grove beat Salem 85-46 was never a contest.

5 game win streak. Liberty grove battle for the 2 spot. and Gaines is an absolute baller. Imagine if he was a foot taller haha

Gaines and Pitts sure put on a show. Not the ending Liberty wanted but dam what a game! Dew this was the fewest home games boys and girls I've ever seen at Liberty. Outside of tourneys the rest of the schedule should have some balance.
