I believe Ava is traveling to Hollister but I’m not sure who else will be there! It’s crazy that we’re exactly 1 week away from kickoff!!

I didnt see what you did with Houston. Thayer and Grove were the best teams there IMO.
Willow. Ummm Yeah that was bad. What did they give up 15 TDs in 3 sessions?

Agreed on the Thayer/Houston statement. Grove looks to be a .500 club this season…..Willow, yikes!

We scored on Houston but we could not stop them from driving it on us. And they also moved the ball well on Thayer in the first session. If Houston can move the ball well and eat the clock they could be a tough opponent.

Thayer.. was explosive, Harrington reminded me of Jaelon Acklin...strong arm with ability to make plays with legs..Spencer boys play aggressive and fast. Solid line to get them holes to run the ball..D they are aggressive and fly to the ball..depth maybe what hurts them.
Houston..will go as Hughes goes..#25 is a solid rb with good speed to go with his size..couple of nice recievers. Line play might be weak point..D is solid but not strong point.
Willow..young and inexperienced..will have a lot of growing pains..but played hard
GROVE..Hook and Metty are a good tandem running the ball..line still work in progress but has potential..Allen is a load at TE and will be trouble for opposing teams..solid wr corps with good speed and size. Unger making huge strides over last year..Hoerning will surprise teams ..Haughey has size and length that will be hard to match for teams. Estep is young but very athletic and will get more comfortable with experience. Depth will help especially in 2nd half of games. D line has good depth to keep fresh players in..linebackers are heart and strength of D..secondary good speed and size.

Harrington was the best player on the field last night. But he is no Acklin, but he definitely has the skills to be a real good dual threat QB. I think we all knew that Thayer would be only be down for a year.

Any injury updates or did everyone stay healthy last night? I feel like we’ve had bad luck in recent jamborees with injuries

It's gonna be a rough 2023 guys we know it. We knew it at the end of last year and at during the offseason when the upperclassmen were begged to play. This aint college/NIL so we can bribe them... Grove went through this just a few years ago. Others have before. We did in 93-94. I hate it for anyone. I'm going to take one, and only one positive from this besides everyone being healthy - I've seen stories before about schools a class or 2 bigger than us dropping down to jv only schedules (Pleasant Hope, Clinton for example and I've heard even bigger schools but no comfirmation) and trying to get wins that way. Our youngsters are playing varsity ball with what should be a jv team. Please give them credit for that. They're still kids, it's still football for what it's worth. It won't be enjoyable in the win/loss column and game scores. I just want to see player development and the will to learn to judge this season. We do have 35 kids so at least some are willing

You didnt count right. They gave up 5 each to Grove and Thayer. Then there were a few to Houston. 15 may not be exact, but it is pretty close.
