Thayer started the season with a 66-50 win over Heyworth, IL. Will play North Tampa Christian Academy tomorrow at 2:30.

Is WS down in Basketball? I know we lost our Post Player so I figure we will suffer a bit this season..like last year. Although the schedule appears easier.

very small. tallest kid Wilbanks at 6'4" but he's hurt no size outside of him.

Grove beat Cassville 70-50 in strafford Tournament play a very good Sparta team Thursday
JV also beat Cassville

Is WS down in Basketball? I know we lost our Post Player so I figure we will suffer a bit this season..like last year. Although the schedule appears easier. not going to a huge loss, but he was starting to really figure it out towards end of last year. we played as fast as ever last night. got a lot of quick kids who play D the Coach O/Hiler way. |

Grove beat Cassville 70-50 in strafford Tournament play a very good Sparta team Thursday JV also beat Cassville Lafferty is a great player for Sparta. They also have a small PG that makes them go. Hold Lafferty to 15-20 point range and you’ll have a chance. |

Any time you lose a Athletic 6'4 kid it can effect the long term Win and Loss record. I see 11 wins on the table for Grove. Maybe 15 if we catch a few breaks. I don't think Cassville is very good so we will see how we fair against better competition. |

Might be wrong but I think they were better last year. They lost their 2nd best player due to graduation. They are going to be a one man show this season. |

Sparta thumped us 63-30. After seeing them in back to back years. This years team is much better.
