Fair Grove has always been one of the most overrated teams around. Nothing new this year. Anytime they meet up with a good physical football team they fold like a wet napkin. If they match up with Lamar it will be like a bye week for Lamar. They could probably play their JV and win. Your name says it all.. When someone does not have a reply they take a shot at the person. Prove me wrong. Show me a time in which Fair Grove defeated a good physical football team |

FG is 3-3 all time vs Liberty and they've been outscored 195-137 which I guess isn't a huge margin. FG's best team by far was the 08 team when they had they a great senior class to go along with a JR Fitz. Guys like Cleeton, Hicks, etc. FG hasn't had a team that would be within 4 TDs of the 08 team since. This years squad might be the closest though. FWIW I think Liberty, Grove, or Lamar could beat em by 14+.
I think there is no way Adrian beats FG, but I also think you're being a little sensitive Workethic!

Long time reader, first time poster. By the sounds of these posts you might have a culture or coach issue? I dont think so. I am pretty sure the coach is in his second year and I dont know much about him.. Ive always thought the people of FG were very nice. But I am a little biased... LOl And "swamp league" people still use that? |

Sorry if I miss spoke .The 3 games that I watched Catholic, Skyline and Strafford the just didnt look like the same team in those..... I dont know about the teams attitude but was just saying they looked like a different team.. Might be better this week against Adrian.. Too bad I have to work would like to see that game..Hope to catch some district games though.... |

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the Skyline game this year was like a 40-50 to 14'ish type game, in favor of Fair Grove. I haven't seen them play, I am just playing devils advocate. Is it a down year for Skyline and those other teams too?

When a team has won 17 games so far in two years, I don't think that there is a culture problem. You personally may not like the coach, admin, fans, or announcer, but obviously the kids are buying into the program. Get over it. Last time I checked, no one played the game so the person that has been to three games was happy on some message board. Especially when there is a history of guys on the old message board calling out players, coaches, admin, fans and everything else. New Board, New Usernames... SAME OLD CRAP.
Also, if MLC is so irrelevant, you guys sure spend a heck of a lot of time and energy talking about it... Just saying.

I think Fair Grove is decent, I will see for myself as I am attending the game tonight. But I also believe that they are not near as good as spf media says. Usually the MLC is irrelevant because there is little to no competition and when they end up playing the SCA it is a much more physical game than what they are use to. But hey we will see how they deal with Adrian tonight and go from there.
