Yesterday talked to an available friend about view and coach acklin. I mentioned their talent and IF they get it together they'll be dang good with one of the best coaches around. View brought it last night. Allot of things Grove should have done different. I agree with all the talk about Otwell. However, fumbles had nothing to do with injuries nor did the few terrible calls change the game. Do I still think Grove is better? Yes, but coaching and players being efficient are key. Congrats view [br There is some agreement between you and I about the fact Grove is better than View at this point in time but just don't believe that will be the case come district play. Just think View has more potential for improvement. Who knows, we may find out. Just depends on how the district seedings shape up. |

Class 2 district 3 overall records at this point in time. Might give some insight as to how the district seedings may shape up.

I will also echo something said earlier in this thread; getting Big Smith back is huge. You can't lose an All Stater like that at the Class 2 level and keep on humming like normal, just look at Grove. I think Big Smith is a player on the level of an Otwell or similar. It is worth noting he was out for the Thayer and Ava games. Hopefully he's back for good and we can continue to continue to gain positive momentum anyway possible (gasp!) as District play approaches.

It was a reply to dews last post in this thread. I dont recall it word for word, but said he shouldn't be so sensitive when he is questioned on his posts, and that just because he did not use the words moral victory did not mean that was not what he was really saying. I know the post was here, because I came back and read it a few mins later and considered editing it a little. Then the next morning when I checked it was gone.

Nothing you posted was immoral but I deleted it because I told you already I can speak for myself and my own town. So I deleted it to piss you off. That is pathetic. So what gives you the right to just delete stuff you don't like? I said nothing even close to being worthy of being deleted.

Let me start off by saying I do not have a dog in this fight...Therefore I should probably shouldn't say anything but after I read this and the more I think about it I have decided why not ask about it.
I have no idea what the post bonehead posted said, but maybe this is something the Admins can come together and discuss. What justifies deleting a post? If something out of line was said then I understand, but just deleting a post because you got into it with someone??? What happened to the days of old when it was scratching and clawing week in and week out with darn near everybody on the board, it was fun and most people loved it. I get that you are standing up for your team dew, I would do the same and expect each and every person to do so. But I know if I was arguing with someone else (admin or not) I would not want a post that had nothing out of line removed "just because".
With that being said I do appreciate the Admins and people that make this site go round. Would hate to not have somewhere to talk football.

The reality is that dew can and will delete anything that he does not like. He openly admitted that I said nothing wrong, he just did not like what I said. And in the near future he will be on here bemoaning why more people are not posting. Who would want to come post at a place where if you disagree with a guy he just deletes your thoughts and then tries to justify it? It remains a pathetic lowblow, but the joke is on him tho because I don't think there are any moral victories to be had after getting their butt whooped by Houston. |
