What do ya think? Both teams started slow and are now playing their best ball of the year. I have heard that Liberty plays several freshmen and sophomores. They should be good for the next several years. Lamar has a great group of underclassmen and their 8th grade has a 41-3 record since beginning football in 3rd grade. So, this could be a yearly battle in the quarterfinals again. What is your prediction for this game?

I’ve been impressed with Liberty this year and they seem to be getting better every game. I’m gonna go with the Eagles in this one 26-14.

Lamar has a really good team this year, Liberty's defense wont be able to stop them. I'm afraid it could get ugly, keeping it within 30 points would be an accomplishment.

WOW...Liberty might get beat but 30 points seems a bit of a stretch.

Its not a stretch if you've seen Lamar, Liberty's only chance is to out score them but Lamar will have the best defense they've seen all year. I don't see it being remotely close unfortunately. Obviously I've been wrong before and could be on this one but Lamar is stacked again this year.

These 2 know each other so well it's like playing a conference opponent. These staffs will find the other's weaknesses and fix some of their own this week. Yes I picked Lamar too but guys I think it will be a closer game. This coming from a guy who aint right much lol

liberty played hard today. Another example of our offense is just not built for Nov football. We have never seemed to learn that lesson over the years. you can sling it around in August and Sept, but when it comes time for playoff games you gotta be able to play like Lamar. But maybe if Liberty had practice til 6pm this week they woulda done it.

I would hate to think how much more uglier that game would have been if you guys played us on a dry field. Lamar has always allowed 3-5 big passing plays against passing teams then they adjust. The Liberty run game wasn’t going to go nowhere. Completely bullied on all aspects of the game. Liberty got a Tug on our JV. It was a slaughter otherwise.

I know you all hate us, I mean it would suck having a decade of teams in a conference all lose outside of one time to one team. I’ll give you guys credit, well some. Ava did beat our worst overall team in a decade. Congrats I guess. It’s the little things right? 😘

It has been very effective, but at some point they have to be able to play smash mouth football in Nov. 5 out empty sets in Nov is not going to get it done.
