Overall, what a rough week 1 for the SCA....Yikes Nothing can be judged by just one week Thayer losing to Hayti is somewhat surprising but Hayti always has some athletes and every few years it comes together for a really good team. So Thayer can still be a really good team and just have a small bump along the way to a pretty good team. But other than that I think most things went as expected. Ava won and appears to be again in the top group of the conf. Liberty won a strange game with the lights going out and losing a major player. That could have an impact on the rest of the way. Cabool beating a down Miller team. Willow beating a terrible Clever team just starting football. Houston losing to a pretty solid Sarcoxie team. Grove getting handled the way they did surprised me, but that seems to be that FG is pretty good. We will know more about this one next week. |

The other things with your statement, is the styles that Thayer and Grove run are kinda like salem in days of old. The best chance to beat them is schedule them early before it all gels.
Great statement in saying it's just 1 week. How many famous coaches have used that saying you're never as bad as you look, but you're never as bad as you look. Many more games to go....

Prayers for Our QB that went down yesterday , Brilliant athlete But we have a 2 quarterback system so we have a plug in and Pruett .
Kinda reminds me of When Cole Gastaneau went down we plugged in Jealon Acklin and didn't miss a beat . I'm positively sure that we'll be ok in that phase . Fair Grove will surely be a good test for us . The Gauntlet starts and doesn't stop all month for us . Bring it on , OH Yeah .
Whith that being said I'd like to offer my prayers to all and any of our warriors who go out and fight for the pride of their towns and their schools , I salute you all and I like to send prayers for all of our Soldiers that are stuck in turmoil all around this world today . And Most important is GOD please bless and heal our World .
