It is cute how Fair Grove thinks they have a chance against Lamar. Not a big fan of them going back for several years. Lamar folks are way better to be around, and they have reason to be loud with how much they have won. Fair Grove is the cockiest bunch I have ever seen that has won basically nothing. Hopefully Lamar crushes them and rubs their face in it. Would love to think Liberty can play with Ava, but I just don't see it. Ava is too fast, too strong and too disciplined for Liberty this year. Would love to be wrong. They will see a entirely different look this week. We are getting some dudes back who will change up our offense. I just hope we end up with more passing yards and TDs. That would be funny to beat them with their own game after all these articles from the Springfield area stating they are one of the best passing teams in the state. I also read they would win class 3 this year or compete. Check out Ozone. I’m not kidding lol |

That is laughable I read that in their preview a C3 state championship caliber team .....Blair Oaks...St. Mary's...Kennett...Luthren North and others....would easily dispatch FG IMO. I'd take my chances with them again. We played rather poorly on the Defensive side of the ball that night with misalignments across the board. And on offense we had offensive penalty after offensive Penalty on big plays.....Ava IMO would pizz pound them. I say they give you a game for a quarter and a half maybe even a half but in the end Lamar wins by 3-4 TD's.

The entire state media mostly agrees, so I guess by their logic (I don’t agree with this mind you) Lamar cruises to a state title with no challenge if they beat FG. That’s is their logic. I disagree, I think Maryville is far better then record shows, Ava is good this year. A lot of teams ranked in the top 10 could beat FG. |

I agree....but the Media is about Clicks now and the Local Media get's a lot more clicks if they tout up the local product. So I get why the do it. It just shows a lack of integrity and logic.

been hiding for a few days. Being physical isn't always about skill level. What I meant was that I was expecting to see hard nosed football from both teams. we arent that far away from our 0-10 season. but even then I seen our boys playing hard getting after the other team.
