Dang where are the Ava,Thayer and Liberty fans? We have 4 SCA squads all in Big time District games this week and it's Crickets Chirping on a Cool evening.
Are Ava fans just sitting back and Salivating about upsetting Lamar and over looking MV?
Are MV fans Dreaming about next season and looking forward to he possible upset and honing this team versus a talented Ava squad in prep for a Massive return of talent and Success in 2022!
Thayer Fans are they so focused on Physically dominating a Marionville squad who has faced a lesser schedule that they can't talk shop?
I know Dew is prepping for Deer Camp, obsessing and anxious about getting out witted by Bambi again...... but come one a drop by is warranted.
And where is Mosooner? He is MIA since last Friday night. Wanting to hear his insight and thoughts on the game.

I’m thinking the Ava fans are like the Lamar fans in being ready for this game, somewhat excited for this round/game. But truly looking forward to the following week. I have nothing but respect for coach swofford, and the Ava bears. There’s nothing but conversation that will come from me. No crap from me. I honestly feel this side of the bracket became the hardest by far. I think Maryville is much better then people think. And Lafayette County is very good. You have Ava which would be tough. Lamar has FG (y’all know my feelings about them) which the media thinks is tough. Then you have a state title game that will feature at least a pretty peppery team. I’m just ready to try the Ava McDonald’s. Maybe Bear up will meet me there for a bite to eat.

And since that game, they have been noticeably better. I think MG should win, but I could see Seneca winning.

Having watched a lot of film of Seneca I agree they have gotten a lot better as the year progressed. Their QB has improved by leaps and bounds. They are physical, and very well coached. They remind me of Thayer in that Regard. We can ill afford to make mistakes and not play clean or IMO this game could get ugly. I am very concerned with Seneca's players who are obvious wrestlers. They play with balance and great hand placement technique wise so they are always around the all and tackle well. They formation the heck out of things on offense and can confuse a defense even though they are not that complicated in what they do play wise. This will clearly be the hardest game we have played since Ava.
This game is even money and Seneca could easily walk away with a district title.

Good luck to y’all, I wouldn’t be disappointed if you guys won. Lol We are rivals, and they don’t play dirty towards other schools, but they always seem to try to get under our boys skin, and the late hits pop up a little more often. Think LMV could give Ava a game? Or no way?

Seneca made a nice Goal line stand against you guys at the end of the 1st qrt. and at the start of the 2nd qrt that was impressive. Then they flubbed up the mojo by throwing a TE arrow/pivot that was insanely inaccurate on 4 and really short. Lamar just has to much talent for them to hang long term. I love your Double G play and the shrunken Line Splits, depending on the situation.
Mtn. View could get on a Roll and make the game uncomfortable for AVA from a Points perspective scoring a lot with Big Pass and Run plays now that the QB position is healthy, but I don't see how the Eagle Defense even begins to stop the AVA offense and the Bears physical play on the O-line. I may be wrong but I think MV has less than a 10% chance of beating he bears on the Road in Booger County. The only things MV has going for them is it is hard to beat a team twice like Ava will have to do and AVA might be looking to the Lamar game already. Which I doubt Coach Swoff is going to allow.

Absolutely he’s such a good coach. And thanks, Beshore is still working on future offense. We can pass this year. Nobody has been able to constantly stop Gastel from getting huge chunks of yards, and he can break tackles for a lanky guy.

Well , This year has been a very strange year for MV/BT this year, and yes most of the team is healthy and we just starting to gell . We are just starting to hold our own against teams around our own size . We've been able to score against the bigger teams like Ava , Grove , and Thayer but just not quite able to put together a complete game against the better established running teams that can wear a smaller line down . We are very proud of our Eagles team and they have hung in there and waited for a lot of the team to get healthy again and I'm kind of proud and surprized they've made it this far and it wouldn't surprize me if we had a little more left in the tank .We'll see .

I remember going to the MVL game against Lamar last year. I noticed a lot of the line was graduating, outside of a few injuries? Was that the biggest issue this year.

Grove vs Seneca could be a dandy. It will help the Panthers playing at home. Games at Seneca are a whole different animal. I think, overall, the Indians play a schedule that sees more physicality, but as we saw last week Grove is not afraid to mix it up. Panthers can not afford the penalties they had last week. They most play cleaner or their season would end. Indians look like a different team than the one that started the season. They have improved as much as anyone. Panthers will need to get more out of their running game this week. If they can do that, and control the line of scrimmage they will keep playing....

I dont think we will have any problems with playing physical. and in the 2 big 8 teams we have seen this year I would say they were far from being physical teams. in fact i would say they were down right soft and shy'd away from any contact

That and penalties , I can't count how many penalties we've had that have stopped good drives that took the momentum away from us or lead to scores for the other team , it's nothing for us to get 120 yds in penalties a game . We have a rather small line and that comes into play when you are up against a tough running team like Grove , thayer and especially teams like Ava , We've got a bunch of scrappy players but that doesn't amount to experience or longevity in a brutal battle . Proud of our guys and they have gotten much better every week but how good and how strong ? GO EAGLES !!!

Wrestler types upfront and aggressive and quick.
