Dam Grove and Ava just can't say we got our ass whipped. Ava only beat Grove because we played so bad. JE"s post all over Facebook. AVA whooped that tail. Own it. We whipped Ava's tail, own it. Sad to see how Grove faithful now has to resort to rooting for Lamar against Liberty. Shows you how lopsided this rivalry has become. You know things are out of hand when JE is preemptively bringing up Lamar before we can even play the Liberty-Grove game. Focus on the here and now JE. I mean yeah score comparisons tell us a blowout is likely, but it's a rivalry! Anything could happen, score comparisons don't mean much! It could very likely be a 35-0 Liberty win, but it could also just as likely be a 21-20 Liberty win. No need to start pulling for Lamar just yet bud, you can wait until after this week for that. and no I'm not rooting for lamar over MV. I'm rooting for Grove to get our crack at em for a second time. Which we beat the only time we played them First off Seneca is who you would play after districts. They are pretty peppery this year, Lamar plays someone from the Kansas City district when they win their district. It’s pretty bad. I’d also point out 2006 wasn’t good Lamar football, Bailey’s second season maybe? Wasn’t exactly a feat like it would’ve been another 4 years later. I think they lost almost every game throughout the previous few seasons. |

Mg knows how good Seneca is, we ended our season against them last year. and they are even better this year. Our district Champ is gonna have to beat both. Very Tall task for whatever team wins it.
and yeah 06 was a long time ago, but sadly we haven't earned the right to get another chance.

Mg knows how good Seneca is, we ended our season against them last year. and they are even better this year. Our district Champ is gonna have to beat both. Very Tall task for whatever team wins it. and yeah 06 was a long time ago, but sadly we haven't earned the right to get another chance. Seneca beat Lamar this year. But just in case anyone didn’t know any details. Lamar left 5 balls on the grass. Didn’t pick up a single one. (2 caused by Lamar themselves) and gave Seneca 3 first downs on 4th down conversation attempts by jumping, which also meant the defense was on the field by end of game by along shot more then the offense. Very NOT Lamar football. And still almost won. Not taking anything away from Seneca. Just believe a lot in context, they will have to relay on a lot more to beat Lamar in the playoffs. The SCA does have a tough path. MVL looks to be hot. |

and, I agree with the poster above, NO ONE should be looking towards Lamar when you would have to go through Seneca first. They are loaded.

We don't have an ESPN channel to turn on and see highlights. so word or mouth is all we got. |
