im gonna go AVa at Thayer. Thayer is really struggling and has some health issues. and Ava is down to just couple 6th graders that aren't hurt that's gonna be running the ball.
Willow and Houston is a close second. the question everyone wants to know, is Houston any good? Willows not great, but are beating the teams they are expected to. first year coach is doing a good job in my eyes

I know that the Nevada vs Lamar game is not on your list but, this could be one of those games that the last team with the ball wins the game. Both teams have a 5-1 record. This game is a rivalry game and is played for the Silver Tiger award which Lamar has held for several years.
Nevada has one of the best backfields in the area with speed to burn. Their defense has been questionable at times.
Lamar lost their starting quarterback, Beshore, to a knee injury against Mac County. He is also a very good dback. He was walking around on it during the 2nd half of last week's game. So, I don't know what his status for this game is. But, Lamar's defense is capable of slowing down Nevadas attack.
I'm going to predict a 43-26 Lamar victory.

His sister in law checked him over as well. It wasn’t nearly as bad as it looked when he didn’t get up after the play like he always does. |

Nevada lost a weird one to McDonald County, and now it’s a rivalry game. This will be a good one. |

It could be a good game but Nevada has seemingly tailed off a little. I know it can be a bit of a rivalry game but, in the end, Lamar will prevail. 40-24 is my guess Buffalo vs Fair Grove might be a really good game. and as for the 6th grade running backs... they may be 6th graders but they are tough 6th graders... LOL In all seriousness, hope some of those injuries arent too severe and they can get back on the field soon. |

I'm going to go with Thayer/Ava as well. Thayer is young and Ava is having to be young after the injuries. These 2 have had some classics before

My brother works in AVA and he said it was open try outs among the 6th graders and a few super stud 5th graders to fill those spots in Booger County that have been decimated by the injury boogie man that lives down in the holler. I heard that TDHM is going to the local loggers and putting a bounty on the Booger County Boogie injury man to bring a halt to the fear and madness that has invade Silvey field. A few years ago we went 0-10 when the Wright county Wraith got loose in our locker room......after he left the local meth...oops I mean Trailer Park haunting. It took Coach Rodgers, Hiler and the Barber shop crew to perform a intense exorcism to rid of us the scoorge. |
