We can play aggressive cause we are pretty deep as well. We go 10 deep at times.
The only issue I saw that needs to be addressed from the Ava game is Henry needs to ignore the opposing teams crowd and play ball. It was neither cute or smart to get in a verbal battle with them.

I was impressed with the depth of the Panthers and respect the tough schedule. They’ll be battle tested heading into the postseason. I didn’t care for some of the taunting but understand it’s a rivalry game and if the Ava players didn’t like it they could have stopped it. |

My issue is responding to the Crowd... not other Ava players that banter goes on although being overt about it can get you in Trouble with some Ref's. But Responding to the Ava student section is a no win battle and can be a distraction.

Cant get sucked anything that can hurt you, especially against a 4 win team. District overall is as down as I have ever seen it.

Grove got out muscled and Hustled all night long. Cabool made their shots. im not putting the blame squarely on the refs, but it was amazing how 1 sided they were on calling fouls. We play a very aggressive style of defense. and the refs completely Neutered us. in the 4th they had called 8 fouls to Cabool's 1. I was there and Cabool was playing every bit as aggressive as we were. they had 4 guys in foul trouble from the 1st quarter, and they all had 3 at halftime. only 1 fouled out. bottom line we missed several layups, and didn't handle the adversity at all. sadly this was same 2 guys who called the Licking game last week. and were just as bad this week. Not sure where they came from, but would hope to not see them outside a middle school game till they learn the game of basketball. |

Saw them earlier this week. In all honesty I would be a little surprised if they do not turbo clock everyone... Grove would be the only one that I think has a possibility of avoiding it.. The district is just not very good top to bottom... and actually has pretty well seeded itself, not sure how much of an argument anyone can make..... |
